The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs & Sports Shri Jitendra Singh has said that the Government has released funds to Bihar Government under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Service Scheme (NSS).
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today he said, the Government has also released funds to the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) for carrying out various programmes of youth development in the State of Bihar. The details of funds released and unspent balance in respect of Bihar during last three financial years, are as under :-
