Address by Secretary, MoYAS at the consultation on youth active citizenship Mrs Sindhushree Khullar, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports addressed the particpants at the consultation on March 3 – 4 on youth active citizenship in India. It was really encouraging for all the participants to hear her fresh perspectives on the issue and keen desire to strengthen the youth programs in the country. This was the first time that a group of such diverse people had come together around the issue of youth active citizenship. Nearly 100 people from different organizations across India attended. The response indicates the need for such collaborative spaces and a growing interest in youth active citizenship.
