The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Jitendra Singh here today launched the project to create Swimming Pools one each at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JNS), Indira Gandhi Sports Complex (IGSC) and Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range (Dr. KSSR). The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 907.50 lakhs.
Creation of Indoor Learner’s pool at Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool Complex and Kiddies pool at MDCNS were already approved in 41st meeting of SAI Governing Body on 24.09.2013.
New Swimming Pools are being created at JNS, IGSC and Dr. KSSR. The estimated cost per swimming pool is Rs. 302.50 lakhs. The total estimated cost for three swimming pools will be Rs. 907.50 lakhs
